Elden Ring: Rot & Sorcery now has an official release window, with the next expansion for Elden Ring: The Board Game set to arrive in July 2027. The update was shared through the project’s GameFound page, giving tabletop fans a clearer idea of when they can return to the Lands Between.

The expansion adds new tabletop versions of two major Elden Ring regions: Liurnia and Caelid. Like the base board game, Rot & Sorcery can be played as part of a larger campaign or enjoyed as a standalone experience. The game supports 1–4 players, with players building out areas through map pieces, completing quests, gathering strength, and preparing for major boss encounters.

Rot & Sorcery includes two campaigns: Machinations of the Witch and Dominion of Rot. Machinations of the Witch takes players into Liurnia and Raya Lucaria Academy, where they will face enemies such as the Red Wolf of Radagon and Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon. Dominion of Rot shifts the action to Caelid, leading toward a major encounter with Starscourge Radahn.

One of the most appealing parts of Elden Ring: The Board Game is how its expansions can connect with one another. Players who own multiple sets can mix campaign elements, explore different paths, search for treasure, and take on additional enemies before challenging the biggest bosses. That flexibility helps the board game capture some of the open-ended feeling of the original video game.

The miniatures remain a major attraction as well. Steamforged Games is known for detailed figures in its video game adaptations, and Elden Ring’s strange creatures, armored warriors, and iconic bosses are especially well suited to tabletop form.

With Radahn and Rennala joining the board game lineup, Rot & Sorcery looks like one of the most important expansions for fans who want a deeper tabletop version of FromSoftware’s world. The full release is still a year away, but July 2027 is now the date Elden Ring board game players can mark on the calendar.
