House of the Dragon Season 3 Expands Through Game of Thrones: Dragonfire

House of the Dragon Season 3 is expanding beyond HBO through new weekly content in the mobile game Game of Thrones: Dragonfire. As the Dance of the Dragons unfolds on screen, players can follow the Targaryen civil war through limited-time events, story scenes, exclusive rewards, and episode-inspired updates.

New in-game content is added every Monday after each new episode premieres on HBO and HBO Max on Sunday night. The updates let players explore the war for Westeros from different perspectives, with events tied to major Season 3 moments and characters.

Week 1 focused on the Battle of the Gullet, sending players after Triarchy raiders and unlocking story scenes connected to Aemond Targaryen. Limited-time dragons Sheepsteeler and Vermax were also added to the Hatchery for a short period.

Week 2 shifted attention to Rhaenyra Targaryen, with players conquering tiles in her name as she sought to reclaim power in Westeros. The update also included strange vision-based hunts and narrative scenes centered on Daemon Targaryen as he prepares Rhaenyra for the war ahead. Week 3 content is scheduled to arrive on July 6.

The game also features a special Watch-Along Event for Season 3. Players who link their accounts and follow each episode can claim rewards throughout the season, including keys, gold, dragon food, runic fragments, amplifier seals, Valyrian tablets, Dragonlord scrolls, and a premium key. Completing all eight episode rewards unlocks 15 Caraxes shards.

Game of Thrones: Dragonfire is free to play and combines city-building, alliance warfare, and dragon collecting. Players can hatch, raise, level up, and command dragons while building power during the Targaryen civil war.

The game includes famous dragons such as Caraxes, Syrax, Vhagar, and Seasmoke, along with original dragons created for Dragonfire. Familiar characters also appear, including Rhaenyra Targaryen, Daemon Targaryen, Alicent Hightower, and Corlys Velaryon.

For fans watching House of the Dragon Season 3 week by week, Dragonfire now offers an extra way to stay inside the conflict, collect rewards, and experience the war for the Iron Throne from the game’s side of Westeros.
