Rockstar Games has officially confirmed new details for Grand Theft Auto VI, including its price, release date, editions, and pre-order schedule.

The standard edition of GTA 6 will cost $79.99, while the Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition will be priced at $99.99. The game is set to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Pre-orders will open at midnight on June 25, 2026. Rockstar says the Ultimate Edition will include extra digital content tied to Jason and Lucia, such as vehicles, weapons, clothing, and other in-game items. Anyone who pre-orders or buys the game before November 20, 2026, will also receive the Vintage Vice City Pack.

Digital pre-orders will include one free month of GTA+. That bonus can be used right away with Grand Theft Auto V and other games available through the GTA+ Games Library.

Players who buy GTA 6 digitally will be able to pre-load the game starting November 12, 2026, one week before launch. Physical editions will also be available from that date, though Rockstar says boxed copies will include a download code instead of a disc.

Grand Theft Auto VI will be sold through the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Store, and selected retailers worldwide. The game has not yet received an official age rating.

Rockstar describes GTA 6 as a single-player experience set in the largest and most immersive world the series has created so far. The company has not yet shared full details about a possible online mode, though fans widely expect a new online component to arrive at some point after launch.
